We are throwing open the doors to our KFE School of Frying Excellence once again, offering you the chance to update your knowledge and learn trade secrets from your industry peers.
This year’s open day will take place on Sunday 17th September and will include live demonstrations, presentations, and an opportunity to test fry on a Kiremko high efficiency frying range.
With saving on energy costs a top priority right now, you can find out how Kiremko’s high efficiency technology can reduce your gas bills and hear from operators that have successfully secured carbon grants from their local councils when buying a new high efficiency Kiremko range.
Guest speaker – Kelly Barnes
We are pleased to reveal our guest speaker this year is Kelly Barnes, owner of Krispies Fish & Chips in Devon. Running three takeaways, Kelly will give a first-hand account of the importance of investing in proper training as well as how placing staff through apprenticeships and management courses can help a team advance in their careers.
Award-winning trainers Gordon Hillan and Mark Petrou will demonstrate key frying skills and techniques, while representatives from Tower Leasing will help you figure out how to finance a new frying range, even calculating how many extra portions of fish and chips you will need to sell to pay for it!
During the open day, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet other shop owners and connect with leading suppliers. Plus, once you’ve eaten all the fish and chips you can handle, you’ll receive a free goody bag to take away with you.
