George Morey of award-winning Knights Fish Restaurant will be the guest speaker at our KFE Open Day on Sunday 29th March, sharing how he uses AI within his busy takeaway and restaurant.
He will explain how the family-run business is using AI across a number of areas, including business reporting, restaurant bookings and social media. His talk will look at where the technology can help, where its limits lie and how fish and chip shop owners can make use of it in their own businesses.
The free event, open to everyone in the fish and chip trade, will also feature talks from KFE trainers and award-winning operators Mark Petrou and Gordon Hillan. Their sessions will cover topics including why so many shops are switching to basket frying, the cost savings offered by high efficiency frying ranges, oil management techniques and the trends shaping the future of the industry.
Talks and demonstrations will run throughout the day, with the doors to our Market Deeping showroom open from 11am to 3pm. For operators looking to expand their menus, Unox will be demonstrating how its combi ovens produce items such as pies, chicken, pizza and baked fish quickly and consistently.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to meet industry suppliers including BD Signs & BDigital, Drywite, Friars Pride, Kerry Foods and Middletons Foods. Representatives from our finance partner Tower Leasing will be available to discuss finance options, including how many additional portions of fish and chips need to be sold to cover the cost of a new frying range.
There will also be the chance to test fry on a Kiremko high efficiency range and see firsthand how it can reduce gas usage. Visitors can also find out how we have helped businesses secure more than £300,000 in grant funding when investing in new high efficiency Kiremko equipment.
All attendees will receive a free goody bag, along with a fish and chips lunch.
Tanya Henderson, Managing Director at KFE, said: “With energy prices rising again and fish prices still high, it’s never been more important for shops to run efficiently and protect their margins. We’re pleased to open our doors and invite people to our free Open Day to see a Kiremko range in action, meet suppliers and pick up ideas which could help attract new customers, save money and improve workflow.”
The event is free to attend, but spaces should be booked in advance. To reserve your place, call 01778 380 448 or email sales@kfeltd.co.uk.
