Kiremko electric frying ranges now feature removable, plug-in heating elements designed to make cleaning easier and help extend oil life.
Previously, the heating elements were hinged and had to be lifted to clean the pan beneath them. This could make some areas difficult to reach, increasing the risk of food debris, grease and carbon particles remaining in the pan and accelerating oil breakdown.
The new design allows staff to quickly and easily unplug the heating element, clean the entire pan before plugging the element back in and filling up with oil. Removing the hinge also eliminates an area where grime could accumulate, while allowing staff to clean the pan without working around a warm heating element.
Tanya Henderson, Managing Director at KFE, says: “Kiremko frying ranges have always focused on ease of use, from built-in timers and alarms to touchscreen controls that manage oil filtering. This latest improvement is a small but practical change that makes cleaning quicker and easier for staff and helps extend oil life, ultimately leading to a better end product.”
