From expanding your menu and reaching new markets to utilising the latest pre-ordering technology, our free Open Day has something to help every fish and chip operator move their business forward.
Taking place on Sunday 20th September at our premises in Market Deeping, the event runs from 10am to 3pm and is open to both existing customers and non-customers. The day will feature live demonstrations from award-winning operators Gordon Hillan and Mark Petrou, supplier advice, equipment showcases and opportunities to speak with the KFE sales team.
One of the guest speakers is The Chippy Tour’s Stephen Peel, who has reviewed almost 200 fish and chip shops across the UK. From well-known seaside classics to local favourites, Stephen will share insights from his travels, discuss what makes a memorable fish and chip shop and explain the factors he looks for when reviewing businesses.
New showroom additions
Visitors can get hands-on with two of KFE’s latest showroom additions – SwiftOrder’s self-serve kiosk and a Qook! kitchen suite. SwiftOrder will demonstrate how quick and easy self-serve kiosks are for customers to use while also making it simple for operators to amend prices, remove menu items and make changes. The kiosk takes up minimal space, reduces queues, increases basket value and can help keep things running smoothly when short-staffed.
Meanwhile, the new Qook! suite makes its debut at KFE, giving operators a first look at what this premium kitchen brand can deliver, from bespoke kitchen suites to complete kitchen solutions.
With fish prices continuing to rise, menu diversification remains a key topic for many operators. KFE will demonstrate how premium burgers, chicken and other menu additions can help increase sales and attract new customers. Equipment including the Kiremko frying range, Adieu grill and Unox ovens will showcase simple, cost-effective ways to introduce products such as burgers, baked fish, pizzas and pies without significant capital investment.
Industry suppliers BD Signs & BD Digital, Drywite, Friars Pride, Kerry Foods, Stokes Sauces and Middletons Foods will be on hand to discuss the latest food, drink and equipment to help businesses broaden their offering and stand out in an increasingly competitive market. KFE’s finance partner, Tower Leasing, will also be available to discuss funding options for new equipment.
Test fry a Kiremko
Throughout the day, visitors will have the opportunity to test fry on a high efficiency Kiremko range before enjoying a fish and chips lunch and leaving with a free goody bag.
KFE Managing Director Tanya Henderson says: “Our Open Day brings together suppliers, demonstrations and practical advice to help fish and chip operators explore new ideas in one place. Come along, ask questions, see the equipment in action and speak to other shop owners – we’re confident you’ll go away with something you can put into practice.”
Our Open Day is free to attend, but spaces should be booked in advance. To reserve your place, call 01778 380 448 or e-mail sales@kfeltd.co.uk.
