We are looking for a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join our nationwide engineering team.
You’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault‑finding and repair of high‑end commercial frying ranges at customer sites across the UK, predominantly covering Hampshire, Berkshire, Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Greater London and Essex. Working autonomously but fully supported, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our customers’ businesses running efficiently.
Key responsibilities
– Service, maintain and repair commercial gas and electric frying ranges
– Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and safely
– Provide a professional, customer‑focused service on site
– Accurately complete job reports and service documentation
– Work closely with the wider KFE engineering and support teams
– Represent KFE’s values, professionalism, and brand at customer sites
About you
We’re looking for someone who is technically strong, reliable and customer‑focused.
Essential/Desirable:
– Experience servicing commercial catering equipment (frying equipment preferred)
– Relevant gas qualifications (e.g. CCCN1 / COMCAT 1–5 or equivalent)
– Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
– Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
– A professional approach with excellent customer communication
– Full UK driving licence
