Congratulations to one of The KFE School of Frying Excellence Trainers, Garry Rosser. Garry’s shop, The Scallop Shell has been named the best Fish and Chip Restaurant in the UK.
This year also saw 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the Drywite Young Fish Frier of The Year go to three young friers who all fry on Kiremkos. Congratulations to 3rd place, Dino Papadamou, Papa’s Fish & Chips, Warrington, 2nd place Amy Horsley from Mister Cs in Selby and finally Ryan Hughes from The Crispy Cod in Porth who won 1st place.

After winning both The Best Independent Fish & Chip Restaurant Of The Year and the Staff Training and Development Awards last year, Burton Road Chippy went on to win another two awards; the NFFF Fish and Chip Quality Award ‘Champion’ Award & The Marketing Innovation Award!
