QBTECIn 2007 Kiremko Durrland bv merged with Perfecta Netherlands to form QBTEC who became the parent company to three long established and quality Dutch frying brands; Kiremko (established since 1957), Perfecta (1945) and Smitto (1905.) The name is based on QB being the initials of Quirinus Bakker , the founder of production frying equipment in Holland and Tec the shortened word associated to technology. The company relocated to new state of the art premises in 2009. The factory has over 10,000 sq m of production space are and 2,000 sq m of office and presentation area. The factory uses over 600 tons of stainless steel every year. This year they have launched a new innovation, Quccino which is setting new standards in the kitchen cooking equipment.
