On Monday 12th September KFE took customers and suppliers over to Holland where the The international trophy was fought between the 3 nations; England, Scotland and Holland. After a tour of the QBTEC factory by Ad Knijff, Export Manager the group was then taken to the golf club where the trophy, held by England following this years KFE Dinner Dance tournament at the Forest of Arden near Birmingham was battled out. England held high hopes to reclaim the trophy with KFE's Paul Williams leading the team, along with him were Richard Evans from Leicester Machine Movers, Gary Kealey from CF Capital, Reece Head and Andy Pybus from Fry Monthly. However with the remnants of the hurricanebrought fearsome winds to the course and England unfortunately came in 3rd position (last!!). The Dutch in their colourful outfits, accompanied by the traditional Dutch clogs took 2nd place leaving Scotland to take him the trophy. Well done to Stuart Dervine from The Ashvale, George Meikle from The Plaice to Be, Jak Longmuir from Alhambra Cafe and Derek Rankin from Henry Colbecks who together won the award.
