The partnership between KFE ltd and Kiremko was commented in February 1996 and has gone from strength to strength since then, with the manufacture acquiring a minority shareholding in KFE during 2007. In the same year Kiremko Durrland bv merged with Perfecta Netherlands to form QBTEC who became the parent company to three long established and quality Dutch frying brands; Kiremko (established since 1957), Perfecta (1945) and Smitto (1905.) The name is based on QB being the initials of Quirinus Bakker , the founder of production frying equipment in Holland and Tec the shortened word associated to technology. Out mutual aim is to continue to strive towards that high standard of excellence we offer our customers, from advice and planning, shop layout, range specification, site survey, installation and training.

All servicing and installations are carried out by KFE fully gas and electrically qualified engineers. Our move to larger premises offers us state-of-the-art-offices, a showroom, workshop and storage for both ranges and over £150,000 work of spare parts. In November 2010 we launched ‘The KFE School of Frying Excellence’. Our training staff are Fish & Chip shop of the year winners and our premises are purpose built to the highest standard of design and hygiene, incorporating the only very best equipment and ingredients. We offer unrivalled package of quality, reliability and expertise to the Fish and Chip frying range market.
